Why SunsetFlare?
SunsetFlare is essentially a deadman's switch.
What is a deadman's switch?
A deadman's switch is a mechanism whereby if you are unable to 'check-in' for any reason, the switch activates and performs a pre-determined task. In the case of SunsetFlare, you can designate a message to send to your family, friends or emergency contacts.
You can also enable us to save 'breadcrumbs' of your last 7 days of locations and optionally include them in your emails to send.
SunsetFlare never collects any information that you don't grant explicit permission for us to save and we never share any of it with anyone other than your designated recipients.
We also encrypt your data so that it can never be inadvertently exposed.
